Leduc Radio

Leduc Radio is an internet-based radio station playing music from the '40s through today.  The station provides creative programming, local advertsing, a report on the Alberta Job Connection, announcements of community events and reports and more.  Audiences of Leduc Radio include Leduc, Beaumont, Devon, Nisku, New Serepta, Calmar, Thorsby, Warburg, Buford, Kavanagh, Looma, Rolly View, Sunnybrook and Telfordville.

Mayor Matthias Berger and a delegation of 24 business and political leaders visited Alberta’s International Region in April 2005 to sign a joint declaration of cooperation between the City of Leduc and Leduc County & the City of Grimma

Mwanza
The African delegation of Mariam Makene Tamira, Deputy Mayor, Alfred Cosmas Luanda, Planning Director, and Majaliwa Carlos Byekwaso, City Revenue Accountant visited Leduc County June 9 to 7, 2006. The delegation planned for future projects and identified joint opportunities. The delegation was interested in several sectors including hotel development, eco-tourism, a business centre, tourism initiatives, waste management, gas drilling and exploration, bird watching, diamond mine exploration and food processing.

Beihai
The Leduc-Nisku Economic Development Authority hosted a welcome reception for a delegation of political and government officials from Beihai, China on Nov. 4th, 2005. The highlight of the reception was a signature ceremony, where a joint declaration of cooperation between Alberta’s International Region and Beihai was signed.
